Mike, I’d love to hunt with you more. You do realize I am well versed in the quartering/gutless method right? I’ve handled every elk but one spike bull I killed when I was young and dumb and we drug the thing out whole. Deer I’ve only cut up one for a buddy a couple years ago that was determined to drag a big mature buck 5 miles haha. All deer I’ve killed have been close enough to a road or horse that cutting them up for a pack out is extra work but after Thursday with 2 deer down I will be considering quartering deer more seriously in the future. 😆
