I drew a La Sal La Sal tag this year after 16 years of entering the draw. As luck would have it, I was asked to work out of the state beginning in May and haven't had 1 day to scout. I'm going to head down to the La Sals the week of the hunt but have never been in that mountain range before. I don't have the money for a guide so I'm on my own. Is there any chance we could talk offline about where you saw elk during your hunt? Thanks, Todd

I just saw this message, didnt get any email saying I had one. Thanks for the b-day wish. The only hunting I have done in Arizona was on the Apache reservation just outside of Globe. I know several people that do a lot of hunting outside of the Phoenix area and they kill a lot of coyotes, bobcats and gray fox. I have seen a lot of dead ones on the road between Lake Powell and Flagstaff on the Navajo reservation. I have always wanted to try there. I think you need to go over to Shiprock, NM in order to get a hunting license for it though. That is about all I know about Arizona hunting. I will probably be down around Phoenix next year. Predator Masters may move their convention over to there for a while.
