Went to the local alpine pond this afternoon. As always, this time of year, nature was easy on the eyes. Fishing was a little slower than I usually have here, but the size was notably up, with several bruisers (for this pond) caught. So I guess that is an acceptable trade off. Fall is my favorite time to fish for trout. A few pics below.
Addendum: My sole complaint on the day is that I'm afraid I experienced Minivans "manhood" ischemia. Ouch. (The UOTF veterans will know what I'm talking about) Can't say I've had that happen to me before. Hope it isn't a sign of age.
