Default Catfish on the hard deck

I've fished UT Lake on the ice many times and have yet to hook into a Catfish. Has anybody ever pulled one up through the hard deck?

I caught a mudcat through the ice at UL just last year. Never have caught a channel cat on the hard deck (anywhere).

A fishing buddy caught several channel cats through the ice last winter at Willard bay.

Several years ago at Echo. Happened to bounce a Hali jig on its nose jigging for perch.
