Default Wasatch East

So here's the situation.. I been out the last 6 weeks scouting wasatch east for deer. Putting in a lot of boot miles and road miles and all I've been able to turn up is bulls and doe deer. I've finally decided that I'm doing something wrong. 100% of my scouting has been on the south side of the hwy/reservoir. My theory was that the further south I could stay from currant creek area the pressure would be less but maybe it's time to shift focus to the north side of the hwy? Long story short I'm hoping someone can shed some light on why I'm not seeing the deer I feel like should be in the area. Additionally, if anyone is looking for bulls I've found a handful of them with some pretty good growth so far. Maybe someone would be kind enough to exchange pointers?
Thanks!
