Default Access to Roads Off Indian Creek, Strawberry

During my muzzy elk tag, the Indian Creek Road was closed from Renegade to Sheep Creek and made access to the areas off Indian Creek extremely limited. Is that still the case? Are folks driving around the Road Closed sign on Indian Creek to access Streeper creek, Crooked Creek, and Chipman? Can you take Indian Springs Road 70501 from Strawberry Ridge down? I know the Indian Creek Road was open over Labor Day.

According to this link the road will be closed until November 30

You may want to contact the county road department about it.

Moose: my frustration during my elk hunt was we would use the closed road to access areas with less pressure to only see a side-by-side drive past the closed sign and head up and hunt the area anyways which impacted any deer and elk in the area.

I know they (county) could ticket those that go around the signs and possibly have their vehicle towed and impounded. If they were wanting to. Some Rednecks just don't know how to read and think the law doesn't apply to them. Ya, you know who you are. I'd love to see a 30K side x side being hauled out and the owners walking with their new paper in hand to see the Judge.
