Default Pahvant packout services

I’ve got a family member hunting bulls on the pahvant right now, most of his help has had to go home and now he is worried about the feasibility of getting an elk off the mountain if he is able to get one down. He said he looked before his hunt but wasn’t able to find anyone so I thought I would ask here if anyone is or knows someone that offers packout services on the Pahvant?

I donít have any suggestions but would love to see his bull when he gets one.

Good luck in your search!

I’ll post a pic for sure if he is able to get it done. The rut hasn’t been going as heavy as we hoped it would be but hopefully it gets better as the week goes on.

Not sure if you are on Facebook but I think the groups on there might help. Facebook can be lame but is a good way to get the word out for something like this. It has a further reach than this forum.

I’ll give that a try. Thanks!

Poor guy needs better friends and family. My only suggestion is call/text the deserters when he kills. Break it down and hopefully they can get there in 5-6 hours to help.

I just got a new job and moved to Fillmore on Monday. I am free in the afternoon/evenings. I don't have horses or anything but I've got a nice pack and I'm in good hiking shape so I could certainly help freighter stuff to a truck or something. Since I just moved here I really don't know the area at all but I'm happy to help out if he gets something on the ground or wants company spotting and such. Pm me if that's something that might work I can get you my phone number.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions and offers to help. I will reach out if we are able to get one down.

You're a great dude. PM me if you get to Riverton. You deserve coffee, beer, soda.
