Default Bull Elk Units Question

I’m confused!!! I bought a spike bull tag. My daughter bought an any bull tag. Both tags for the Oct 3rd opener. The proclaimation identifies Any Bull units and Spike only units which seem to overlap the Limited Entry units.
But does the spike tag allow me to hunt the Any Bull units? Are there any units designated specifically for Spike only hunters?

All those questions are easily answered in the proclamation. It clarifies all the units. So in a summary, no you can not hunt on the any bull units. Only spike units. The proclamation will show you where those units are. Get reading and don’t make a stupid mistake and hunt the wrong units.

As mentioned, no, you cannot under any circumstances hunt your spike only tag on the any bull units or vice versa.

I would recommend you pick one and go with it and the other not hunt or choose to camp in an area where the units border each other and go your separate ways each day to hunt.

It is in the Field Regulation book.

Pick up a copy of it and read it or download it from here.
