Default Any bugling over the weekend?

Did anyone hear any bugling over the weekend in general season areas? I didn't hear a single bugle, and I know there were some in the area because I bumped one!

Not a peep where I was on the south slope. It was brutally hot for Labor Day weekend.

It will be interesting to see after this cold snap if it gets the bulls going or not.

I know on my LE hunt in the Book Cliffs that the bulls were silent until the temperatures dropped and we had a good hail storm, they they went off like a switch had been thrown.

I'm hoping the south side gets some precipitation too.... That east fork fire merged with the phinney lake fire and now it's a mega fire of 27k acres!

If you hear how much they got and have come tomorrow, would you please let us know? I'm not in the fancy truck boat, yet.
My car can get a lot of places but up there may not be one of them. I'm hoping it melts off a decent amount on the roads by thursday.

Oli, you can check road conditions here, just click on the camera in the area you're wondering about. there's one camera by mt watson, looks like there's a couple of inches

Get a set of chains.

The sad thing is that you most likely have radial tires on your car and those cable things that they call chains are not worth a thing if you really need them, but if you put real chains onto the tires you will most likely tear up the sidewalls.
