Default Utah Any Bull Elk Units

I have been a Utah Elk spike hunter for 15 years and did not fill my limited entry elk tag last year so looking to get out in a Any Bull unit with a multi-season tag this year. Have hunted the Wasatch Mountains spike unit my whole life but no Any Bull unit experience....can anyone give me some insight?

Thanks

I think we've seen this 18 times just this year alone. Plenty of old thread on here bud. Search em up.

With no disrespect to the OP, I think the best advice anyone will be willing to share on an any bull unit is what you likely already know if you are an experienced elk hunter: hike, glass, repeat.

I hate to say it, but this question is one that I don't see answered much. If someone has an idea where the elk are on any bull units, they don't tell anyone because they worked to find the area they hunt in. Most spots are found by wandering year after year until success is found.

Personally, I always try think at least 1 year ahead of the current year. If I think I might put in for a cow tag next year, i'll scout that area this year while the hunt is on. Similarly, if I think i'm going to try an any bull elk unit, i'd be checking likely areas out before i even buy the tag. That's just how I like to roll.

To be fair, this year, everything's been kind of scattywhampus with covid, and the county lockdowns that happened earlier. Kind of hard to scout when your told you can't be there if your not a county resident.

edit: I was planning on any bull elk this year, but since i couldn't scout it, I didn't even bother. Had my finger hovering over the any bull multi season tag though, almost bought it.
