Yes he can, for archery only. GS archery elk remains statewide.

I believe it is also written on the season dates of the permit once those are shipped.

It has been clearly written in the regs every year. For those who struggled they even made a chart.

Multi-season follows archery rules during the archery hunt: You can hunt any bull in any bull units, or spike in spike units, or a cow elk in either.

Edit: For those questioning this is page 26 of the regs. Every year around page 25/26 they clarify the multi-season rules separate from the "usually" page 22 description.

I have always said that if people would just read the regs there would be a lot fewer questions asked as the seasons approach on the forum here.

Lol for sure.

That and the fact that we have covered almost every single reg at least 1x per year on here Maybe everyone expects a change from the last thread.

7MM you are all good with your question! It's hard when they describe it different ways.

To be fair to the OP, he linked a statement directly from DWR that appears to clearly contradict that chart. I can understand the confusion and it's a fair question given that discrepancy. I'm a novice and I'd be worried if I had that tag and saw that contradiction.
