Default Fillmore/Oak Creek S Doe Pronghorn

Been doing a TON of E-Scouting, found some potential water, and plan on going down Pioneer Day weekend to knock on some doors Saturday if I can find some does in ag fields. Any suggestions? This is my first pronghorn hunt but I am a fairly successful deer and elk hunter. Will be packing a ground blind and the bow, as well as the rifle. Current plan is to either find some water on Public or just drive and glass, drive and glass, drive and glass. Tag is the 8/1 start date so it will be HOT.

My dad got this tag too. He has the rifle tag. I have only seen them on private. This will be our 1st time also. Good luck. I will let you know if we find anything good.

I also have this tag. Mine is for the October hunt though. I have seen a few small herds out and about in public land. It should be fun good luck!

Should be plenty on public land in that unit. I got the tag last year and filled it on the first hunt. There are way more animals on the South end of the unit.....Have FUN!

I drew the August tag as well--I see them off I-15 often, I don't think it will be too terribly difficult to find goats on public land if ya drive around enough--that's my plan at least

Oh, that’s how the draw works???

On a real note, the jealousy is real! I wish I could’ve joined you guys out there! I put in for the August tag, then I could’ve actually contributed some first hand info to all of you guys with later tags!

Nope. I got exactly what I applied for with doe pronghorn: a point. Drew a doe tag in WY, so I wanted to spread the love out a bit. I “should” be able to draw one next year.
