Thanks critter I'll do my best to get up high as early as possible. I figured it was pretty early in the year to totally bail on an area. I'll keep working on it there's still time to get some found

I LOVE watching avalanche chutes early and late on the north side of a tall peak this time of year. Especially with a nearby seep of water and dark pines on the edges.

Hmm. I know a spot exactly like you describe. I sort of wrote it off because I didn't think deer would get out on that open chute. Maybe that basin deserves another couple sits.

I was definitely wrong on that boundary. Been a while since I’ve hunted the unit.

Hunt the north side some good canyons with some better bucks. That unit has went down the last few years.
