Treehugnhuntr, I live at the bottom of the subdivision just south of the Perry City offices. If anyone has a hankerin to come bowhunt behind my house, I could show you around.
Thatís Cool Longbow; I have family that owns fruit orchards right by the Perry City offices. I used to hunt those orchards during the extended archery hunt when I was in high school. I have seen a lot of deer over the years there but never anything that resembled a whitetail nor a hybrid. I know Mule deer-whitetail hybrids exist in Montana; my father-in-law was telling me of the hybrids he saw during a bear hunt up there a few years ago. Even spoke to a game warden about them. From what he says there not very welcome among the locals up there.

Do you people even listen to me?

Interesting pics!

My fear is that whitetails and their hybridizations will be like Eurasian Collared doves. Sure they're cool now...they're pretty and new...but then all that will wear off.

And they'll just be a pesky, noisy, fat dove that hogs all the feed from the native birds at the bird feeder.

Even still, cool pics. If you get more post 'em up.
