How to be succsecful for UN

Postby cklspencer » Mar 09, '10, 12:56

After receiving my results for the Utah bear hunt I was Successful for UN. Perplexed, as I have never hunted and UN I thought I should do some research. First I started off by looking at my past draw history. Apparently I have been successful for UN many times. After more research this is what I found out on UNs. They tend to wait around a lot with great anticipation on something great to happen. They spend countless hours staring off into space and day dreaming of this great thing to come. Some of them wait upwards of 20 plus years for this great thing to happen wasting away into nothing when it does not. They can be found in every environment around. They may even be sitting right beside you and you wouldn’t know it. You can find them staring at elk, deer, moose, bear and even yotes here and there.
Some like to spend hours trying to find some hard pieces of bone and have a tendency to horde and pack them around as if they were gold. Others spend countless hours climbing over mountains in hopes that the great thing will happen soon. They tend to make all kinds of noise and cause all types of commotion when this great thing does not happen. If you want to find and UN here are a few times of year that are better than others. One of those times is around April as hunt results come out. This is the best time to look for signs and listen to the cries and sounds of the UN. Look for signs of bi$%&ing and moaning on boards and forums. Listen for cries and moans around work, coffee shops sporting goods stores and even on the other end of your phone. Some other signs to look for are large amounts of empty beer cans and bottles, shredded paper most comely addressed from the division of wildlife from states such and Utah, Idaho, Colorado, Nevada and even Arizona.
After all this research it looks like if you are vigilant and look hard and in the right areas for these signs you fill find and bag yourself an UN. GOOD LUCK!

The problem is the DWR is giving out too many dang UN tags! You'd have a decent chance of harvesting one if the DWR didn't give an UN tag to person who applies!

Look at all the states around UT. None of them give out half as many UN tags as UT. Everyone I know has drawn an UN tag for the last 5 years. Where do you think the quality has gone since then? Straight down the toilet. We need to get SFW ivolved so the DWR will decrease the number of UN tags that go out. This is a worse than the spike hunt, the Monroe deer herd, and wolves. :x

Not aware of any uns in Wyoming, but hell, what do I know.
So I'm in my late 50s. Life's not the party I hoped for...but hell, while I'm here I might as well dance.
