Killing them at SandwashMan these past few weeks we have been killing them at Sandwash. Average length has been around 16 inches. Today, last Saturday, and the Saturday before my group of three have caught 42 fish, and we are going out again tomorrow morning. You have to be there early, because the fishing pretty much dies off around 12:00.

Re: Killing them at Sandwash
Nope......if you live in Vernal, then it's <---------------west. If you live in Salt Lake, then it's ----------------------> east. God Bless America
Re: Killing them at SandwashWell, it doesn't matter what direction you are coming from, Salt Lake, or Vernal, either way you need to get to Bluebell. Once you get to the Bluebell store, which is the only convienent store in Bluebell, you then head South from the store. You maybe go about 2 miles south of the store and you can't miss the turn off, it will be on your right and you can see the dam. And if you don't know where Bluebell is, it is in the Uintah Basin. I didn't get out today though, had too many things to do around the house. I hope with this warm weather that the ice won't melt away too fast. I had to walk on a ladder last time to get onto the ice. But, I can't wait until the ice starts to go at Scofield. For the past 5 years now, my dad and I have always hit it when the ice is just coming off. We have a secret location on the lake that we fish and usually you only have a 2 day window to hit these fish, but on average we catch just over a hundred trout, all of which are over two pounds, and most of them are cutthroat. Best fishing of my life, and I look forward to it every year. .45, if you are interested, send me a pm since we still haven't gone on our fishing trip yet, and I will keep you posted and you can come with me for quite the fishing trip.
