We was catching them in 25-30 feet of water. I'm sure summer and winter are 2 different things though. But I've seen lot of people have a decent day on the ice for perch around the island. Maybe its worth a try?

Yes there were alot of people fishing straight out from the Island when I went bye at 1:30 Sunday. I figured that must be doing well for Perch with that crowd.
