I made comment on this a few months ago. That formate is terrible and the picture does not depict any wild deer species in Utah. The administrators must not be Utah outdoors persons.
That's funny. Just yesterday I was using the mobile site and noticed that too. Not too familiar with Stags so I just thought my phone was distorting the color.
It is not. In the picture I posted originally it pictures a Red Deer indigenous to Europe. Antler formation and general appearance are somewhat similar, but there are distinct differences in size and coloration. Red Deer(or Stag) are not found wild in Utah, nor anywhere else on the continent that I am aware of. We are probably being nit-picky but it would be nice to have a picture of a species at least native to the state on the UTAH wildlife network's mobile banner.
