I have an acryllic body for a goose call that I love but my brother lost the guts to it in the marsh... Idiot! I was wondering if anyone has used foiles or or saunders guts in another body and got good sound out of them?
If you know the brand you can contact the manufacturer and order the right guts. If you don't know it, then you can probably make replacement guts work but you will probably have fit (trim) them to your sound board/plug, just depends on the call’s internal dimensions (if the plug that holds the reed will fit your calls’ cutout).
You might ask over on the Utah Refuge forum page too.
Most goose calls I have owned have the same dia. bore for the guts. I have tried my Zink guts in my Foiles, My Foiles in my Buck Gardner, so on and so forth. What brand is the call you have?

It is a custom hand turned body.. There is no name brand on it. (Unique, thats why i like it) I will buy some foiles guts and see how they work.. Thanks for the replies.
