Default Wet Opener

Watching the weather report for this Saturdays spring Turkey opener, and it looks like wet, windy, cold weather. Going to feel like the Deer hunt, LOL So, whos all in to spend the day in the rain, and how do you think the birds will react to calls, etc.? I'll give it a shot but I'm not planning on a huge success story.

Wow, it's already here? Class doesn't end until the 25th!

...which is why I've been banking my LE points while in school and hunting the general season. It works out fine, since it takes about as long to draw a LE Central region tag as it does to earn a Bachelor's degree anyway.

I'll be out there in it just because I can. I wasn't expecting much out of the opener anyway, thinking it would be a mad house. But, I did kill my Tom last year during a little break on a very stormy day. So, you never know.

I shot my first Tom in a snow storm.

If you don't go out odds are you won't see anything and it is hard to find a turkey while watching TV unless you look on the sofa.
